Making a Heart-Shaped Purse   by craftforkids

What you will need:
1. Felt (2)
2. Scissors
3. Hot glue gun (or any strong glue)
4. A button
5. Thread and needle
6. A pencil
7. A ribbon

To make:

Step 1 : Cut a piece of felt into a rectangle. Make sure that when you fold the rectangle a folded money can fit inside it.

Step 2 : With the other piece of felt, make a heart. Then, glue it to one side of the rectangle. It should look like this:

( This picture shows the finished purse. The heart should only be glued to one side.)

Step 3 : Fold the rectangle together. At the end of the heart, cut a little line for the button. Then, fold the heart over the other side of the felt that was folded and mark the place that has been cut on the folded rectangle.

Step 4 : Sew the button at the place that is marked. Then, glue a piece of ribbon at the side of the felt that has the button.

Step 5 : Sew the rectangle felt together. Enter the button through the hole at the end of the heart.

Now your purse is complete! :)
